I purchased a boat at the time when we still have young kids whom I used to take out to the lake. Now our kids are all grown up and have moved to far-off cities across the US, and my wife and I have decided to move to the country, for a change in scenery and atmosphere. We are now trying to dispose our properties because it will be difficult to transact business in absentia. We have prospective buyers for the house inclusive of all furnishings, but have no idea where, or to whom we can sell. Good thing a friend of ours mentioned about Boat Donation Charity. I have decided I will just donate my boat to charity, for the benefit of specific charitable organizations. I was told that when you donate a boat, you even get tax deductions and other perks. That would be great!
