Just like a telephone line, an internet for me should already be part of every home. It may not be considered a basic necessity but it could definitely provide ease and convenience. For one, information is readily available. You can say goodbye to your bulky and old encyclopedia because as they say, ‘you just have to google it.’ Another thing, communication is fast, easy and cheap. No need to make international calls because email, chat and even voice mails can be used to get in touch with loved-ones abroad. Social networking is another advantage where-in you get in touch with old friends and even meet new ones. These are just some of the benefits of being visible online and the very same reason why internet providers have mushroomed for the past few years. Unfortunately, some, or should I say, many internet providers fail to meet the consumer’s needs and requirements. I, for one, have tried a couple and was disappointed several times. Not until I learned about the hughesnet satellite internet. I never thought that surfing the net could be as fast as one click. If before I can eat breakfast, wash the dishes, wipe the table and do other stuff before I can download a video, now I could barely drink my coffee. It’s really fast, not to mention secure, and I am so happy!
